Henry Fallah Saamoi Chief Executive Officer

Henry F. Saamoi has extensive experience in commercial and retail banking spanning over a period of almost two decades. He has served IB, formerly ITC, since 1999 and was appointed as Chief Executive Officer in August 2012 after serving as the acting CEO from January to July 2012. He is responsible for the overall management and growth strategy of the bank. Mr. Saamoi oversees correspondent banking relationships. Prior to becoming the CEO at IBLL, Mr. Saamoi gradually worked his way up from an intern to Vice President (of various departments) to General Manager.

Mr. Saamoi has been the Chairman of the Board of Directors at Civic Education and Good Citizen Movement since 2006. He has also been a Member of the Board of Advisors of AIESEC Liberia. He initially served the organization as the national Vice President for Finance, as well as the University of Liberia Chapter. During his undergraduate studies at the University of Liberia, he held the position of Vice President of the Accounting Students Association and also chaired the Scholarship Committee of the Student Democratic Alliance (STUDA). He also serves as a Trustee of the Bethel Cathedral of Hope in Monrovia. Mr.

Saamoi received a Banking Diploma (MBA equivalent) in 2010 from the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin. Prior to this, he received an MBA – Finance from Cuttington University Graduate School in Monrovia, Liberia in 2007. He obtained a BBA (Magna Cum Laude) in Accounting with a Minor in Economics from the University of Liberia in 1998. He has also been trained in International Trade Operations and International Financial Reporting Systems (IFRS).
